Someone’s nature and signature never change!
Ohh, c’mon take a break, and a chill pill.
It’s very much within the realm of possibility, provided you have the right motivation and the absolute desire to do it.
The very fact that you made it here shows that you are ready to shake things up and get started. It’s never too late to make a positive change in yourself and towards your outlook to life. Your attitude decides your altitude. Life can’t always be seen in compartments, in terms of black and white. There are various shades of grey and keeping this in mind would do a whole world of good to you in your dealings with others. Always bear this in mind that life is far more complicated than we take it to be.
Figure out what exactly is that which ticks you off. Your over-demanding boss, jealous colleagues, nagging wife, irritating kids, annoying girlfriend, or friends who are worse than enemies. They all play a very important part in your life, isn’t it? Don’t let anyone for that matter change you, not the least those who are such an important part of your life. There are always more things to like in a person than dislike.
And don’t ever let situations or unwanted emotions get the better of you. Rather be in the ownership of your situation. You are just not made to be dictated by others or situations, remember that’s just not worth it and you would be doing a great deal of disservice to yourself if you allow that to happen. Don’t be judgemental about others. Step into others’ shoes and see things from the perspective ‘what could I have done’?’ You would feel much more liberated then and own the situation in a better way.
It’s nobody’s case that one shouldn’t have ego and desire. Lord Buddha once enlightened his disciple on happiness. The disciple asked: ‘I want happiness’. Lord Buddha replied: Remove ‘I’ which is ego, ‘want’ which is desire and then you are left with only happiness. In the times that we live in, it’s only natural to have desires. However, be realistic in your expectations and keep striving to make things better.
Always be nice to people while going up, you will meet them while coming down. Others got nothing to do with your fortune and success. You would only be remembered for your nice words and kind behaviour. Exude warmth and compassion. Take away the chill of this world with the warmth of your presence. The true measure of a life is how you touch the lives of others.
Now that you are 441 words into the article, make it a point not to react but to respond. Reaction is something you'll regret later, while responding is a much more positive approach. Your reaction more often would generate negativity all around. However, responding to people or situation is a much better way to ensure positivity.
To err is human. No one is perfect. Admitting your mistakes and rectifying things will make everyone involved feel better. And the icing on the cake is you end up becoming the man you always wanted to be!
