One of the world’s rarest Lotus rides is
heading to the auction block – and it only has two wheels. The
high-powered Lotus C-01 motorcycle was designed in 2014 by Daniel Simon,
the man behind the light cycles of the Tron Legacy film.
With a limited production run of just 100 units, this particular C-01
has never been ridden and features a 200hp KTM 1,195cc V-twin engine
complete with six-speed transmission, massive 320mm Brembo brakes and
Ohlins suspension.

The bike’s fairings is where things really get wild though with
throwback British green adorning the futuristic cafe racer body.
Mandatory yellow accents are evident on the gaping intake which makes
for an even bolder design statement. To complement a bike of this
calibre, all of the panels are crafted from carbon fibre as well as the
wheels.
